When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel , and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to star in the series, Segel said that Goldstein initially wanted a "Harrison Ford type" and auditioned for people who looked like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take it to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled nonetheless.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023).
I actually really enjoyed Shrinking
It’s about a grieving therapist (Jason Segal) who has had enough and starts telling his patients exactly what he really thinks about them. What follows is a really funny series that will give you a good laugh. The best part of the series is the interactions between Segal’s character and Harrison Ford.
I can’t wait to see more of this!
This show has received nothing but rave reviews for a reason. This show will no doubt be nominated for all sorts of awards and deservedly so. It must be doing well because it’s already been renewed early for a second season.
